The Outhouse Races are a popular event featured in the annual Fur Rondy festival in downtown Anchorage.
Teams design and build "outhouses" on skis. Then, they race their creations up and down 4th Avenue with hopes of flushing out the competition and winning the coveted outhouse trophy and cash prize.
